At then moment the Outings team are busy planning and delivering against its 2025 programme. All outings will also be notified through the bulletin.



We will continue our practice of asking all members to confirm they have read the Terms and Conditions before signing up for an outing. A copy may be viewed HERE and a hard copy will be available to read when booking an outing at monthly meetings.

Christmas at Hever Castle

Visit Hever Castle and enjoy a 2 course Christmas menu in the Pavilion Restaurant.  Experience beautifully decorated rooms in the castle. Visit the gardens for the magical themed Christmas trail with the lights starting at 4pm. 


The cost of the outing is £55.00 per person, and includes coach transportation, entrance to the castle and grounds and a 2- course meal (main course and dessert) including mulled wine or hot spiced apple juice, bread, jugs of water on the table and tea or coffee.

Bluebell Railway Steam and Cream Tea

An opportunity to visit the popular Bluebell Railway and enjoy a cream tea on board. Coach departing Reigate and Redhill (approx 11.30am) to arrive at Sheffield Park station with time to relax and visit the attractions. The Locomotive shed and interactive display, museum, gift and model shop should be available. The Bessemer Arms offers light snacks, full meals and drinks; there is also a picnic area if you wish to bring your own lunch.

The highlight of the visit is a return journey on a steam train, departing Sheffield Park station at 2.40pm enjoying a cream tea (scone and tea or coffee) whilst travelling to East Grinstead and back.
