Book Group 5

If you want to join an intellectual book group then we are probably not the group for you! We are, however, an opinionated group of individuals and enjoy a good read and a lively discussion. We do score our reads against Well Written. Enjoyment, Read Another By Same Author/ Authoress and Would You Recommend (this can be to a friend or worst enemy!).

We select our books when the the current list has been exhausted. This is often twice a year but our current list was 9 books. Everyone can put forward a book or 2 either from past reading, a book list, a recommendation or just because.

We try to respect each other and not talk across one another but sometimes we do get over-excited. We have no fixed order to speak first. We are always willing to try something different to widen our reading tastes and have no fixed structure for book selection.
