u3a during pandemic - latest updates

Below is a chart showing the basic current Covid-19 guidance with reference to u3a activities provided by the Third Age Trust.

Further details can be found by clicking on these links.

1. Updated guidance for England updated 23 October 2020

Government regulations mean most of our normal u3a activities continue to be restricted. The u3a follows government guidelines and these change regularly. Group meetings are limited to six people. Community halls are now allowed to open but physical distancing and other rules apply. Our aim remains to find ways of staying active and in touch.

Zoom and other video conferencing software is now used widely. It is unlikely that we will be able hold our usual monthly meetings in the foreseeable future so we have ‘gone on line’. Each month there is a virtual meeting and talk which can be accessed through Zoom and, replacing Coffee Mornings, there are 'Meet & Chat' sessions. You will find the details on the What's On page here.
