History 4 - Hidden History

The aim of our group is to discuss topics of less well-known historical interest. Sessions are friendly and informal and no one person is responsible for the whole meeting. Each month three or four members prepare and deliver a short talk, on a subject of their choice, which is followed by time for discussion, when all members are able to participate.

We are never short of topics and have covered the histories of people, events , places and even commodities such as coffee, coal, salt and ice!
